From 2004-2006 I had myself a little cake business called Cakes by Abby. Not very clever, but it worked. I mostly made cakes for friends, family, church, and school with a few random orders from my website that no longer exists. My husband and I took the Wilton cake decorating classes through our local Garden Ridge and I got a lot of my inspiration from just copying a napkin or invitation or even the baby bedding someone was using. Unlike quilts, these labors of love don't stay around very long, so there are a few that I let slip through the cracks and don't appear here. But for the most part, here's what I made during that time plus a few that I've made since.
