Time for Miss Lu to get a little brother and time for another baby quilt!
I took the "boy" fabrics out of the charm pack of Love U that I had and added some 5" solid squares to make a disappearing nine patch quilt for brother.
I had this fabulous madras plaid fabric from my grandmother's stash
and this was the perfect way to use it!
I quilted all over with a meandering stitch and now it's soft and crinkly!
What to do with the girl fabrics from the charm pack? Add some solids and make doll quilts! They had fun picking out their fabrics, laying them out and pressing the presser foot to sew them together! I stitched in the ditch and bound them with the backing fabric.
