I finished a project! There wasn't much to it, but it feels good. It took about an hour or so to pick everything out and baste and quilt, another 30 or so to make the binding and sew it on, and a couple of evenings of television to hand sew the binding down. It's a Merry & Bright panel and I used a red gingham to back and bind it.
My grandmother's birthday was Sunday and she turned 85. I hope she'll enjoy using this at Christmas!
And I don't think I ever mentioned it (since I forgot about blogging there for a while), but I have another baby quilt to make. Before December 28th, that is! Crazy, but such a blessing! Better get to work!
