I thought it was hard starting a garden with one baby, but now we're doing it with a newborn and a toddler. Whew! At least this time around, the garden was already built. Erik mixed in the compost and peat moss a la square foot gardening and planted a few cooler weather items either at night with a big light, or during nap time. Right now, he's at Lowes with Audrey getting the rest of our plants while a baby sleeps on my shoulder and I rest with a case of mastitis in full swing (after spending 1.5 hours at the urgent care clinic on a Saturday morning. Ugh). So here are our beans, lettuce, onion, chives, parsley, cilantro, oregano, and leeks. Yum!
