With a niece on the way I have all kinds of excuses to quilt. This was my perfect opportunity to crank out a rag quilt. I've been curious ever since I found a pattern for one (thanks, about.com!) and I found the perfect flannels. It's soft and cute and really didn't take very long. I actually machined the whole thing, which was a new experience for me, but it worked fairly well, as my machine cooperated for the most part. Since Miss Molly came early, I went ahead and gave it to Lisa at the hospital and she loved it!
